Ivan spent several years with an insurance company and in 1979 opened Cohen-Putnam Agency. Ivan served for 13 years as a senior adjunct professor at Westchester Community College in the Banking, Insurance and Real Estate curriculum and served on the curriculum advisory committee. Ivan has published articles and taught various insurance related courses nationally.
Ivan serves as an expert witness and litigation consultant on insurance related matters, presented a national insurance related webinar for attorneys and currently serves as a subject matter expert for both the New York State Department of Financial Services on their Insurance Exam Review Committee and for Prometric’s national insurance test development.
